Science
In Science, students are provided with scientific understanding, inquiry skills, and the ability to apply science to real-world situations.
Through the program, students learn key concepts in biological, chemical, physical, and Earth and space sciences. They explore how scientific knowledge can be used to explain and predict events, and how it relates to everyday experiences and global issues.
The curriculum supports the development of important skills such as questioning, planning and conducting investigations, collecting and analysing data, and communicating findings. Students also learn to evaluate evidence and reflect on the processes of science, fostering critical thinking and problem-solving abilities that prepare them for future learning. All students are provided with a one-hour intensive science lesson a week to develop their knowledge and skills.
