House Captains

Here at Stockdale Road, our House Captains are enthusiastic student leaders who play a key role in promoting a positive and active sporting culture across the school. They proudly lead their house teams on sports day, encouraging participation, teamwork, and school spirit. Throughout the year, our House Captains help manage the sports shed, assist with setting up equipment when needed, and run games and activities in the stadium during lunch or recess breaks.

This leadership role gives students the chance to develop confidence, responsibility, and communication skills while being positive role models for their peers all throughout the school.

To be elected a Stockdale Road House Captain, students in year 6 put their name forward to represent their given house by preparing and delivering a speech to teachers and current House Captains explaining why they would be a great leader. After the presentations, a vote is held, and four students from each house are elected each year to represent their house as House Captains.
