As you know last Friday was a Student Free Day to allow our entire staff to participate in some professional learning.
One of the missing areas in our Behaviour supports is Restorative Practices, and we have signed up with a 3 year partnership with Real Schools to learn and embed these.
Attached is an article explaining what our partnership with Real Schools means for Stocky and, more importantly, how you will come along with the journey as well.
We have decided to hold this Professional Learning at the end of 2025, to allow some of the key concepts to be used and trialled this year, so we can hit the ground running in 2026. It is a 3 year partnership that will evolve over time. One of the key points is this is not a program ‘to be done’. Real Schools will work with staff, students and families to build on the amazing work we’ve already started.
