Welcome to Stockdale Road Primary School. We are a Professional Learning Community with a passion and focus on Building Strong Relationships and Excellence in Teaching and Learning. We strive to continually reflect upon and improve our practice to support students in being the best learners they can be.

At Stockdale Road Primary School we endeavour to create a safe and caring learning environment for all students. We strive to deliver excellence in teaching and learning, supporting our students in developing the skills and knowledge they need to be successful learners and active members of the community.

We provide an engaging and comprehensive curriculum in key learning areas of English, Mathematics, Humanities, Health, Science and Technologies. These are supported by our Specialist Programs including The Arts, Physical Education and Digital Technologies.

We are committed to Excellence in Teaching and Learning and our teachers and staff undertaking continuous professional learning to enhance their skills. Our teachers and staff plan and work together in Professional Learning Teams to ensure both consistency of approach and expectations.

At Stockdale Road Primary School we use the School-wide Positive Behaviour Support Framework to develop positive social, emotional, behavioural and academic outcomes for students. Clear and consistent expectations and supports have been developed with input from our students, their families and our teachers and staff.

Stockdale Road Primary School is committed to the safety and wellbeing of all children and young people. We are committed to providing a child safe environment where children and young people are safe and feel safe, and their voices are heard about decisions that affect their lives. Particular attention will be paid to the cultural safety of Aboriginal children and children from culturally and/or linguistically diverse backgrounds, as well as the safety of children with a disability. Stockdale Road Primary School has zero tolerance for child abuse.

Our Student Wellbeing team work together with teachers, staff and families to support student social and emotional development. Our Student Wellbeing Officer and school support dog, Max, work with students in addition to an onsite mental health clinician.
