This week our Enviro Team, Mrs Arber and Jade visited Yallambee Aged Care to spend quality time with the residents. Together they shared stories, laughter, and worked side by side to help brighten the gardens for the coming seasons.
Ms Burns called in to see her Nanna at lunch time who was enjoying her time with our students. The visit was a truly meaningful experience, filled with kindness, connection, and a wonderful sense of community.
To make the day even more special, everyone joined in celebrating a resident’s incredible 100th birthday! A truly memorable occasion that nearly brought tears to our eyes.
Thank you once again to Bunnings for donating the pots (that our students painted in their lunch times), bulbs and potting mix. Your generosity and support of our program is greatly appreciated.
We are so proud of our students for representing our school with such compassion and enthusiasm and can’t wait to visit Yallambee again soon.
