The Digital Technologies curriculum enables students to become confident and creative developers of digital solutions through the application of information systems and specific ways of thinking about problem solving.  It allows students to acquire a deep knowledge and understanding of digital systems, data and information and the processes associated with creating digital solutions so they can take up an active role in meeting current and future needs.

At Stockdale Road Primary School our weekly Digital Technologies Program involves using a range of technology from Prep to Year 6 including:

  • Laptops
  • iPads
  • Blue Bots
  • mBots
  • Alpha Robots
  • Green Screen
  • Bloxels

Students are exposed to a wide range of coding and programming software and technology while also learning the features of the Microsoft Office programs such as Word, PowerPoint, Publisher and Excel. As Stockdale Road Primary School is an eSmart School, we also focus on how to be and stay safe on-line.
